The challenge

Solid work, almost no visibility

Kevin Turner Painting came to us in March 2025 freshly acquired and effectively starting from zero online. The website produced barely a few thousand dollars a month, paid channels were quiet, and the Google Business Profile generated almost no organic reach.

In a market as competitive as Kansas City, that left nearly every new job riding on referrals and word of mouth. There was no predictable engine reaching homeowners who didn't already know the name — and no attribution to tell the new owners which marketing, if any, was working. To grow this into a multi-million-dollar operation, that gap had to close first.

The results

A measurable engine that keeps accelerating

In just over a year, Kevin Turner Painting went from near-zero online to a $5 million annual run rate, posting more than $100,000 in weekly residential paint sales.

The SCG-managed channels are a direct contributor. Attributed revenue reached $521,891 in 2025 (29% of the company total) — then $567,603 in just the first half of 2026, already passing the entire prior year in six months. Google Ads has converted at 16.2% lifetime at a $75 cost per conversion, while the website has produced 488 form submissions and 440 first-time phone calls.

The organic foundation is compounding too: from roughly zero to 453 ranking keywords, including #4 for "interior painters" — a term with 33,100 monthly searches — and reviews nearly doubling from 69 to 139. The traffic curve that stayed flat through most of 2025 turns sharply upward from April 2026 on, which means the channel is still accelerating rather than leveling off.

In just the first half of 2026, the engine we built produced more attributed revenue than in all of 2025 — $567,603 in six months, on the way to a $5 million annual run rate.
